Classy Cocktails On a Crappy Afternoon

Yesterday afternoon was just another typical day in Central Florida... sure as the sun rises the thunderstorms were rolling in. It had been a long day at work and I was looking forward to sitting outside and enjoying a cocktail by the pool. Since that was no longer a possibility, I grabbed my girl and we made our way to Sip, the local lounge right up the street. And lounging is exactly what we did. You've got to love what Alan, Koko and Jeff the former owners of Lava Lounge have done with the place; cool green walls, simple but elegant decor, TVs playing old movies, relaxing chill music and last but not least amazing cocktails! It was the perfect venue for some lazy rainy day conversation.
When we first arrived, shortly after they opened for the day, we were two of the three people there. Within the next hour a nice collection of people populated the place. Glancing around you could see most, if not all, had stopped by right after leaving work. If you haven't given SIP a try or have only been there on a Friday or Saturday late night, I encourage you stop by for a relaxing afternoon drink.
